Be in the Moment as you eat

How important it is to be in the moment while we’re eating. Take a couple of minutes here to say grace before you start eating this doesn’t have to be a religious act we can feel gratitude for the people that made it possible for our food to be on our plate ( the supermarket, the driver who transported the food, the farmer that grew the plants and nature) then start using your 5 senses before you start eating to appreciate the look of your food the colours, the smell, the different textures in your mouth and in contact with your tongue and skin, the sound we make when something is crunchy and the different flavours, get fully into the sensations it takes 20 for the body to recognise that is full so take your time to access your mind, remember that each sensation brings a connection with the brain and the brain takes time to recognise this, in the same way ask yourself when you had enough to eat. We often ignore how much we are eating and ignore the fact that we’ll feel sluggish later on and this is a typical example of mindless eating by pausing we take the chance to catch up with our own cravings get to your blog post.
